Yes. It’s a long time since the call centre advisor role was a 9-5, Monday to Friday deal. With a wide range of shifts available covering evenings, weekends and (occasionally) 24 hour patterns, you should find hours to suit you.
It really could be anything – from retailers to market researchers to energy providers, so you’ll need to relish the variety of the role, have a knack for remembering details and be able to adapt your style to suit each client’s customers. The better you can do that the more shifts you’re likely to be offered.
Organisation. You’ll need the organisational skills to be able to switch between call centres, sometimes – depending on the frequency of the part time shifts you request – on the same day. And you’ll need to be meticulous and organised whilst doing the job, so that the CRM system is accurately updated to make life easier for the agents who follow you.
