Kitchen Porter Requirements
Kitchen Porters are expected to ensure the smooth running of operations behind the scenes, whilst maintaining the restaurant’s quality. Duties may vary and the pressures of working in a professional kitchen can be high - the ability to maintain a cool head under pressure is essential. You will need:
- Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or within an kitchen environment and in a high pressure environment
- Washing, restocking and food preparation
- To adhere to health & safety, food hygiene & allergen regulations
- To be reliable, punctual, diligent & have a hard work ethic
- The ability to keep cool under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
